Shkon në 50 numri i të vdekurve nga shpërthimi në Liban, mbi 2700 të plagosur

Deri më tani raportohen 50 të vdekur dhe mijëra të plagosur, si pasojë e një shpërthimi të fuqishëm në Liban.

Ministria libaneze e Shëndetësisë thotë se rreth 3,000 persona janë plagosur nga ky shpërthimi i fuqishëm, në një zonë industriale në portin e Bejrutit.

Sipas të dhënave paraprake të autoriteteve libaneze, 50 persona kanë mbërritur të pajetë në spital, ndërsa shumë prej të plagosurve janë në gjendje kritike.

Spitali ka deklaruar se është jashtë kapaciteteve, ndërsa Kryqi i Kuq ka bërë thirrje për dhurime masive gjaku të çdo grupi.

Qeveria ka shpallur të mërkurën ditë zie kombëtare.

Një depo që dyshohet se strehonte lëndë plasëse mori zjarr dhe më pas shpërtheu duke lëshuar një valë goditëse që shkatërroi qindra ndërtesa.

Nëpër rrugë ka pllakosur kaosi dhe shkatërrimet e shumta dhe pallate të tëra janë dëmtuar nga shpërthimi. Këto janë vetëm disa nga pamjet tragjike të asaj që ndodhi sot pasdite.
